Product Description
The reader is given many tips on how to go beyond conscious learning to more easily absorb information. The content has been designed to appeal to visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. Each chapter can be reviewed with both a crossword puzzle and an online introspective tool. This enables a deeper integration of the material. In easy-to-understand language, this book explains, how the brain processes information, how learning is affected by emotions and core beliefs, and how innate brain wiring can be altered both intentionally and unintentionally. Ideal for corporate learners, college/university students, home-schooling parents.

From the Author
I would like to reach people who may not have done well in school. Many of those people are now in dead-end jobs. There is no reason to put up with that condition. By learning how the brain learns, anyone can succeed.
About the Author
Born in the U.K. and raised near Montreal, Brian Walsh was a part-time journalist and broadcaster before joining a major international company. For much of his 30-year career he was involved in human resources, specifically training. While living in the arctic, Brian studied anthropology and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), which prepared him for working with other cultures. He was then transferred to China where he served as his company’s GM.
After his return to Canada, he elected early retirement to further his earlier interest in NLP and hypnotherapy. He returned to formal study, and within four years had achieved his Ph.D. His dissertation, which focused on accelerated learning techniques, inspired his passion and his book, "Unleashing Your Brilliance". Dr. Walsh regularly conducts workshops on accelerated learning. He is a master practitioner of NLP, an acupuncture detoxification specialist, an EFT practitioner, and a clinical hypnotherapist.

OPTIMIZING YOUR EXPLORATION OF THIS BOOK 1. Set your intention. In other words, state your purpose for reading this book and what you expect to get out of it. Write it on a large piece of paper and stick it on your wall. You may even have a few objectives (better grades, greater comprehension, personal growth, whatever). 2. Read the table of contents twice. 3. Read the index. Use a highlighter to call attention to any entries with multiple references. They just might be important. That simple highlighter may be one of your most valuable tools. Use it often. 4. Take a short break. Drink water. Later, I’ll explain the negative effects of dehydration on thinking. 5. Read your intention(s) out loud if you can. Do this periodically as you advance through the book. 6. Scan the whole text, pausing at each title and subtitle. 7. Read the table of contents and index one more time. 8. Take a break. Drink water. This is so very important. 9. Read this book in roughly twenty to thirty minute spurts. About every seven to ten minutes, look at a distant object for a few moments. I’ll explain the advantages later. Some items are intended for trainers and teachers; however, they could be of use to anyone. 10. Each chapter ends with a review in the form of a crossword puzzle. Although you could complete it right away, I suggest that you let the material sink in for a few hours, or even overnight, before beginning this review. You can find the solutions in Appendix 4. 11. As well, most chapters end with a couple of questions for you to consider. You will then be invited to integrate what you’ve learned by means of an online resource. More about that in the next chapter. 12. Have fun. Share any Aha! moments with others. Feel the energy.
