About the Author

Charlotte Gerson is the founder of the Gerson Institute and the daughter of Max Gerson, the creator of the Gerson Therapy. Born in Germany, she attended Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. Charlotte has supervised the training of medical staff at the Gerson Institute and at hospitals licensed to teach the Gerson Institute method and has lectured on the benefits of nutritional therapy at health organizations worldwide, including the Cancer Control Society, the National Health Federation, and the International Association of Cancer Victors and Friends. Morton Walker, D.P.M., is a respected medical journalist with seventy-four bestselling health books to his credit and twenty-three journalism awards for his work. In 1992, the American Cancer Control Society honored him with its Humanitarian Award and named him "the world's leading medical journalist specializing in holistic medicine." His work has been published in periodicals including Nutrition Science News and Healthy & Natural, and he has appeared on television programs including the Today show and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Producer Tavia Gilbert is an AudioFile Earphones Award winner, an Audie Award nominee, and a Parent's Choice Award winner. She makes her home in Portland, Maine, where she works as a writer and a stage and voice actor. Tavia produces, directs, and narrates unique audiobooks, full-cast recordings, and documentaries, and she is currently pursuing an M.F.A. in creative nonfiction at the Vermont College of Fine Arts.
